The Maximum Development Hockey School's philosophy is
to have the highest possible instruction for the players. For this reason,
there will be only dedicated high quality instructors who have proven
credentials. The players will work very hard at the school and will be
directed by a staff who will also work to their potential. The staff will
provide on-ice instruction, demonstration and individual attention to
players in order to improve all aspects of players' skating strides, puck
control ability, stick handling, shooting and 1-on-1 tactics.
Triston has been with Maximum Development Hockey School since its birth in 1993. He originates from Montreal, Quebec and has played at many different levels of hockey, from house and travel leagues to Junior Hockey and U.S. College Hockey. Most of his teaching knowledge comes from being trained by the MD Hockey Instructor Training Program over the last several years. He is now in charge of all the MD Hockey instructors and is constantly mentoring junior instructors to be head instructors. Triston has now completed playing Varsity Hockey and completed a 4 year degree at a Major Divison 1 school in Michigan. |

All our program directors possess many academic as well as hockey accomplishments. Most of our directors are involved in the Education Field during the school year and devote themselves full-time to the MD Hockey Schools in the summers. Many of them have degrees in business, engineering and other professional fields as well.
As far as hockey experience and program planning, their experience is remarkable. They have over 40 years of coaching and clinics behind them. They have all played some level of Junior Hockey and/or University Hockey. One of our directors has gone on to a professional hockey career and has come back to instruct at the MD Hockey School. Most importantly, one of our Directors has worked for Cooper Canada for 7 years before joining our team of instructors and has designed most of the on-ice program.

| All other hockey instructors are accomplished Junior
"A" and College players. Most importantly, they are players
who have worked several hockey schools and have been through the Maximum
Development Training Program. They know what technical points to look
for during each drill, how to explain it easily both verbally and through
demonstration, and most importantly, how to teach and encourage through
positive reinforcement skills. The primary purpose of each instructor
is to dedicate their week to helping every player improve and have fun
while learning new hockey moves and techniques. |
